Resolved, That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty, that She will be graciously pleased to give directions that there be laid before this House, a Copy of, or Extract from, a Despatch from Governor Sir John Bowring to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, dated the 31st day of July 1857, on the subject of the confinement of Chinese Prisoners at Hong Kong (in con- tinuation of Parliamentary Paper, No. 155, of Session 2, 1857).

Ordered, That the said Address be presented to Her Majesty by such Members of this House as are of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy
